We built a 530hp 440 and transmission for Paul’s Coronet. Before fitting the motor and sorting the wiring, we also painted the engine bay and rebuilt the front suspension.

Pete’s ’65 Dodge Coronet

Billadeau Speed built a 493ci hydraulic cam motor for Pete’s Coronet, which produced 580hp with 580ft-lbs of torque. We fitted the engine and transmission into the car and sorted the wiring.

Dave Billadeau’s ’66 Dodge Coronet

Another addition to the Billadeau stable, bought for racing while working on other projects. The ex-Gerry the Gerbil Coronet received a fresh 440, which made 485hp on the dyno, and was given another top sign writing job by Craig Ainge. Ol’ Scatter Bolts was running consistent 11.7s on the strip.

Bri’s ’69 Dodge Coronet

Having sold his ’68 Charger, Bri acquired this Coronet from Duncan Watts, who imported it into the country. The car came straight to us for MOT work, wiring and to fit ally heads. With iron heads, the car had previously run into the 10.9s in the States.

Several years later, Bri brought his Coronet in for an engine bay repaint, transmission rebuild and a 540ci engine was fitted.

Bri freshened up the Coronet in 2015 with some sign writing completed by Craig Ainge, while we added a little airbrush work to finish off the Super Stock styling.

Ashley’s ’70 Dodge Coronet

Dave’s ’68 Dodge Coronet

Dave’s 318ci motor had expired so he came to us to fit another 318, along with a new clutch and few small tidy up jobs.

Howard’s ’68 Dodge Coronet R/T

Howard bought a kit form 493ci engine for his Coronet and came to Billadeau Speed to complete the build. It featured a mild mechanical cam and B1/BS heads. This produced 550hp on the dyno, with 600ft-lbs of torque.

The engine bay was sandblasted, painted and rewired. Other jobs included installing the centre console, fitting a fibre glass hood and upgrading the fuel system. The propshaft was also upgraded to 1350 UJs.

Chris’s ’67 Dodge Coronet Sedan

This very rare machine, home to a 440, came in for MOT work, wiring and a service. Further work included the ignition and brakes, and a Hemi scoop was fitted to the bonnet.
